Had a chance to use and test this shaft. Like it alot. Will work well for those in the water and new 13 x 11 Coil. Weight has been moved to the rear of the shaft allowing for better balance. Locking RC Clip, built in. New angle for RC, allowing adjustments to the RC much easier.

As a total, the Weight is only .5 oz. Half an oz. between factory and Steve's Shaft. That's not much. But Steve was able to move about 3 Oz. of weight to the rear of the shaft, helping the balance. It is better balanced than the factory.

I received my shaft yesterday and started putting it together tonight. All I can say is the quality, workmanship and attention to detail is Top Shelf and OFF the charts perfect. Beautifully made!!

Stock D2 chassis is 456 grams, Steve’s is 463 grams. This includes the locking RC mechanism, larger stand, better cuff with foam insert AND the lower rod is 4” longer for tall people. All that while only adding 7 grams. The magic of carbon fiber….I got mine the other day and it is BEAUTIFULLY constructed.
