Coming to El Paso Texas

I am a government employees and it appears I will be on temporary duty in El Paso from January - March of 2010. I am packing my detector and would like to hit some places on the week ends. If you don't mind an old Georgia dude joining you for some dirt fishin, drop me a line. Also, are city parks open to metal detecting?

Im not sure if the parks are open to MD'ing or not. Never tried. Im still getting used to my cheap, Harbor Freight detector. I'd be interested in tagging along on a MD'ing trip while your out here. Just shoot me a PM, and we can set something up.
