Compadre arrived!

Ok......it came and I was impressed that Tesoro seals their boxes so one can see if any tampering has occurred. As usual, Kellyco boxed and shipped the item expertly and that is why I guess I love shopping with them plus it arrives basic shipping charges to my house usually in 2 days!

I did not take out the detector other than to get to the warranty card to fill out and send in since this is going in a hiding place until the end of the month for my daughter's birthday. I read somewhere that Tesoro requires the warranty/registration card to be filled and returned to them within 10 days of purchase.

But on the surface the detector looks like a winner and my daughter I certainly hope will be as happy as a possum in a persimmon tree!

Can't wait to get this detector out and running for my daughter! I have to say, I am a bit curious too!

I did my research and of course asked here to the knowledge base we have and got the thumbs up. It is simplistic and not interface busy to confuse her. I think it will be a true gem!

I gave my adult daughter my Compadre and she got silver rings on her first hunt and outhunts me most of the time.

Nice thing about your gift is the memories she will have spending time with Dad when she is our age.
