At least let the thing go on sale, just in time for Christmas >:(

why drop the price on a machine that sells so well, doesn't make good buisness since, they know your going to make your money back on the machine within a few months. I have a minelab Elite an whites pi an have over 100 rings within a year an a half, each machine was about 600.00 .I look for the price to go up before it goes down unless someone puts out a better machine for a lot lower price.

"Why drop the price..." Because it makes good business sense!!

These BBS machines have been out for some time now and surely the cost of R&D have been re-coped. Putting them within the budget of more hobbyist would more than re-cope any profit loss of the lower price most likely increase profits, develop brand loyalty and increase word of mouth advertising.

I would need more than two hands to count the number of times I have heard "I bought a tiger shark but would have bought an excal if I could afford it"

The economic climate it changing fast. Business have enjoyed high prices and low wages for so many years that people are reluctant or unable to purchase at current retail. Some business will realize this in time and make the adjustment. Other will just go out of business. I actually spoke to a retailer in my area that said "I had to raise prices business was bad" a few months later I noticed him hanging the closed sign in his window for the last time.

Some of the Fisher's and Whites have two frequencies.

my troy has 3
