Thanks. I tried disc cleanup and it didnt work. I think Ill uninstall and reinstall.

If it was a "time limited trial" version, find "revo uninstaller" (get it here) and use it to uninstall the program. It will find and remove ALL registry entries. Then reinstall the program and you'll get your 30/60/90 day trial period to start over.

Also very good to remove anything else (except viruses and spyware - which it was not designed for) you no longer want . . . and make sure it is really gone.

OK, I found the CD Nero 7 Essentials, so it was not a trial program. It came with a bundle installed in my PC.

I had no trouble uninstalling Nero from the Add/Remove Programs.

I reinstalled, a window said something about plug-ins, and now it works.


OK thanks everybody. I am constantly learning. Not too bad because 5 years ago I didnt even know what a mouse was. I learned to use a computer so I could post an unknown find on TN on Dec 14, 2004, and here I am, still here.
