003.webp004.webp002.webp001.webp What is it , what was it used for ? I had this for awhile now and after showing this to few experts they all had no idea . I don't think it is anything of value but I still want to know what it is since I got few of these ,thanks

Put something in the picture with it for size reference also if you can tell a little about where it was found those are things that may help with the identification.

The 6 sided blue star could represent The star of David a symbol in Judaism. Your item may have something to do with the Holocaust.

Your item didn't have ashes in the plastic with it did it. If it did they might have been the remains of a Holocaust survivor that had been buried by family. The numbers 8/43 could represent when the person was rescued or when that person passed.

If there are any Jewish religious establishments in your area you could find out if it is associated with any of the above described possibilities.

Wrong star , my has six sides the company you refer to has only five sides

If you had found 7 of them I would think they might be candle snuffers for a Menorah.

yes just guessing, what kind of metal is it, it just dosent seem ornate enough for a religious object
the #s seem to be somekind of code tracking, measurement, ID for whatever its used for

Google star of david, click on images of star of david the 64th image is your star, now the significance of the numbers needs to be found. Sadly those might be the numbers that were tattooed on the victims in the Holocaust. Are all six the same set of numbers?
