I just cleaned up the finds from this weekend's hunt at a favorite Civil War site. I always love to find things that I've never found before and I found a couple of those on this outing....a fired hexagonal Whitworth bullet and a musket trigger guard. A nice bullet in wood piece and a Barber quarter along with a bunch of CW lead capped off a great weekend. --JB

That's a lot of lead! The bullet in wood has, so far, eluded me. Nice finds!

Love the CW history, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Nice hunt, nice variety of lead, the trigger guard is awesome, hope you can clean it up, nice silver, congrats on all

Nice snag's there JB!! Never say Never

That is a great hunt! The bullet in wood is also high on my list. Congratulations on some great saves. Sites like that are becoming rare.
