Went hiking the old ruts yesterday. Got the usual shoes, shells, nuts, nails & wagon wheel shim. Best find was the General Service Button. Pics show as found and after toothpiickin.
Shells date from 1877. Didn't want to mess with the 38 shell. Didn't look like it had a headstamp.
