Yes. I got in 8.5 hours of hunting yesterday Greg so that total of coins will stand unless I can get up enough energy to put in another marathon hunt next Saturday. It was pretty difficult, I am pretty sore today.

My highest total for a one day hunt from either 9/29 or 10/6 will be the magic number.

Either way, guessing is open until 3pm EST on Oct 6th.

I'm pretty sure that's how it goes.

I'll make it easy...The total from this weekend will stand but keep guessing until 10/6. If I get out next weekend, I would rather hunt my normal 4 to 5 hours... 8 hours plus at the pace I was swinging and digging is too intense, especially doing it two weeks in a row. My back, neck, and knee are killing me today .

No more confusion

I originally put that disclaimer in there in case it rained half way through, or I had to cut my hunt short for some reason and since I got to the 8 hour mark, I reached that goal (working it hard for at least 8 hours).

think hes going with the highest total day wize of the two hunts ---between this one and next week since he hit it 8.5 hours this week -- and only plans to hunt 5 hours next week most likely todays total amount will be the higher number -- just giving more folks a chance to hit the jackpot by making it go another week -- keeping the buzz going--- Ivan

I found 418 coins plus a goldie and a silver last week and didn't even make the list

I guess it takes something extra special to make it

I know Kirks post is all in fun though so hey, no biggie.

Captn SE is the man and deserves #1 every week.

I have one update on the ring... it's hallmarked 750 not 950.
18kt white gold not platinum.
I used a dry erase marker and put some ink down into it and could see the hallmark better. It's inset pretty deep.
Still don't know if the diamond is real.
I will take it to a jeweler during the week... plus have him test the gold also.
