Controller won't power up-WS6 won't power down

So charging the controller it seemed that it took awhile to come alive.
Charged it up, Monday, went out today-zilch.
Won't power up, got it on the charger, still nothing.
I turned the WS6 on, paired the coil.
Now I can't power them down.
Pressing the -+key at the same time.
Still stays on.

So it was on the charger for 2.5 hrs, before the charging icon came on.
4 hrs -1/4 charged
At least the headphones turn off now.

Nearly 12 hrs on the charger-still only 1/4 way charged. That sucks.

Well I took it off the charger and zilch.
Doesn't power up
Put back on charger it powers up.
I guess the battery is hashed.
Also noticed it is running 6.0 (I'm running Apple-so that will be an issue right out of the box getting an update)
I guess it's a return to sender issue.

That’s the one thing I don’t like about Deus. You need as pc to update.I pre-ordered the Manticore … #122 on the preorder list.

Hate to hear about the issues with the new machine, hopefully they’ll get it back to you quickly in proper working order.

It's an issue as I don't have a Gate's program computer-gave that up in 2013
Deus doesn't run Apple-which is down right silly.

Just got off the phone with the seller-"Well you must be doing something wrong"
Just got to love it when "the "you" comes out to play"

Pretty simple-controller (which he calls "looks like a cell phone")works when on charger-unplug it goes blank-plug back in-it powers up-unplug-it goes blank.

"I think you're doing something wrong like you haven't set up all the programs"

My reply: You have no idea about how these machines even function-do you?
"No"
Then he dug one out-didn't even know how to turn it on-or how to look at a program.
(I have to go the bloody hospital to get stitches in my tongue, from biting it)

There's nothing better when the "F" bombs start creeping into my vocabulary.
Folks tend to start listening.
So now it's a late Monday return call........

Well the distributor for Canada is sending out a new unit in the morning.
Charged it, updated it.
He didn't have any issues with the problem.

Well I received the new controller with the latest update and charging cable late yesterday.
It was nice just to look down at the screen instead of having to remove the puck from the head.
The sounds are a tad different though
The headphones are a nice and comfortable, not overly squeezing on the head as I had found wearing Gray Ghosts over the years.
The controller is certainly easier to navigate than the puck.

He made it right-right quick.
Wants the charging cable back also as he said it might be just a single charging pin problem.
No problem I'll send in that also.
This a like driving a new vehicle. suspension is nice and tight, and no wobbling.
