I recently hunted several places and came up with an unusual assortment of items. While hunting a beach I came up with half a pipe bowl from an old clay pipe and a 1909 VDB cent. Tried a spot in the woods that I've pounded and still came up with an old button. The back reads London Double Quality and has a crown. I'd appreciate any info anyone has on this. Last hunt was at a spot that has now produced 65 coppers. I picked up a toasted Draped Bust large cent and a fairly nice 1915 Barber Quarter.

Beautiful Barber and that pipe bowl half is quite the find!

That Barber is gorgeous bud! Great hunt with nice assortment. Very similar to my sites lol

Very nice finds... as usual. Congrats.

Thanks guys. I like that Barber quarter myself. Most that I've found are very worn.

Awesome finds..wow great hunt! The Barber is in beautiful condition, just like you said yourself, most are found in very worn and thin condition. My lone Barber quarter, though it is in great shape, is worn and thin, and yours is in what appears to be almost AU condition. Nice hunt, enjoyed it, great pics, thanks for sharing...ddf

nice finds there!,that barber quarter is very nice.congrats

Beautiful barber quarter! I would love to hunt a site where the potential to pull about anything from the ground is possible. Age wise I mean. So much history in your area. The only advantage we have here in NC is the ability to find the same old crap year round where ya'll lose several months to old man winter.
