I got out for a couple of 1 hour hunts the last few days. I hit a church park and then a ball field. I didn't think the ball field was old but after hunting for about 45 minutes with the etrac sounding off more than I thought it should I hit a really high pitched 11 47 reading. About 4 inches down was a 1941 Quarter. With my faith in the etrac restored I moved down about 13 feet and hit another high pitched tone that came in as an 11 50. It turned out to be a belt buckle. I thought it was aluminum but then read on the back Sterling. It is nicely engraved and a really cool find. I also found what appears to be a bit of a gold necklace but am sure the item is plated. Here is a photo of a few of the items. Finally Tally was:
1941 Quarter
194? Wheatie
Sterling Belt Buckle
Part of gold necklace with charm...plated.
5 Quarters
15 Dimes
7 Nickels
24 Lincolns
14 Zincolns
2 Chuck E Cheese Tokens.
