Cool Swivel Gun (looks very old)

I found what I think is a very interesting bronze swivel gun/ rail cannon at an antique shop. No one at the shop knows where they got it, which makes me a little nervous about it being authentic. They say it has been sitting in a corner for a very long time.

It looks possibly Portuguese and 17th or 18th century based on some images I found online, but I would really appreciate your help nailing down a provenance and a time period. A sense for the value of the piece would also be appreciated. Thanks for lookin'!

Cannon for Sale | GunStar Two on here that look similar pretty much identical. I say its a "A bronze Malayan Lantaka 19th century". Looks real to me.
