Cool tool: Have you guys ever used a duct knife?

I picked this up at a big box home improvement store here in Iowa called Menard’s for about $14.

Its called a duct knife, and it’s full tang, serrated on one side, and sharp on the other. It‘s a tough little blade, and it was very helpful to me today, so I thought I’d share. There are other brands from other stores, and there’s always Amazon of course. They’re worth a look.

No, aim using it to dissect the plug, or to pick around in the hole.

I already do that on occasion with my shovel. This cuts down on that.
