Have not heard of any copper hoarders as of late, just wondering if they all pulled the plug on saving coppers. I'm still saving coppers where possible at about 15-18%, and still saving all possible 2009-all 4-var., sooner or later I will sort by condition then roll em up.

I only save 81 and older, why save 09?

Still sorting and saving copper when I have time; not so much anymore, but I've got two $50 bags off the machine to go through eventually. Still averaging 27%, and only non-coppers I'm saving are 2009's in AU or better condition, and errors of course. Currently have hoarded about 110,000 copper cents. Yes, I know I have a problem...

Still pulling copper here. I'm not even sure what drives my desire to do it...if I hunted 10 boxes a week I certainly wouldn't. A single bucket full of coppers is manageable though, so I keep at it.

Got rid of all my US copper, over $300, was taking away from my roll hunting funds. After doing some research and reading, figured it just wasn't worth hold on to it. I still hold Canadian copper and wheats, plus holding Canadian nickels.

I have enough copper cents stored away to satisfy my own needs so I stopped keeping them. Then I found a local buyer so I keep them to sell to him. I'm only charging him $110 for each $100 face value but he is a friend so why not. It's not much extra work.

Must be a nice friend. So you cull 10,000 cents and make $10? Do you run a Ryedale? or are you culling by hand?

I do it by hand but I have it down to the point where I can go through a $50 bag in 45 minutes. I keep the wheats, proofs, Canadian and obvious error coins. I say obvious because I don't take time to closely inspect both sides of each coin.
