Was out today with my GTI 2500, found 3 quarters 3 dimes and four pennies. My last hit and dig was pretty deep at least 8 inches. To me it looks like a copper ingot, something I've never seen before. It's very heavy and has a green color that copper gets. If you look in the photo you can see the scratch is copper color. Anyone have an idea what it was used for? Electrical bus bar perhaps? Looks like it was bolted to something at some time, holes at both ends where it broke?

I agree - looks like an electrical separator of some type.

Thanks for the help!
