I took this picture of Chief Red Bird of the Winnebago Tribe last week end.
Check out the large pipe with feathers and the breast plate.

Interesting story on the history.... there is a theory that not only the Indians mined the stuff in the UP but also due to the quantity of copper needed during the Bronze age that it was mined by the Romans and there are digs that seem to prove the theory.
