Got out for a few hrs today. Went back to the same house that gives up only coins

I was very happy to pull this small KG II. It's about the size of a quarter & is smaller than the normal KG II , so I'm guessing a Halfpence.

Was also suprised to pull this worn 02 Barber. 1st silver of the year for me. Was hoping it was a 1/2 Reale but I'll gladly take it.

Finally found a few buttons. I like this basketwave patterned one.

Hope everyone had a chance to get out.

HH!
Roger

It's a later (old head) George II Farthing. (Halfpence are the normal ones)

Sweet old copper and the other finds as well.

Thanks IP & Thanks Guys!

One a side note the name is too hard to photograph. Any ideas on the age?

I've gotten most of it I think. Seems to say Hanes Miehel. It also seems to have some more writing above Hanes, but it's really tough to read.

Any ideas on how I can clean it up to get some more detail out of it without losing the name?

I'm hoping I can find out who this person was as there are some old cemeteries in the area.

I'm having a ball. Here is a moment in time captured long ago. I wonder when the last time this name was said, who they were, saw and did.

Thanks In Advance!
Roger
