Copper?

Found at first what I thought was gold but it's looks a lot more like copper. It's pretty heavy, any ideas. Is native copper worth anything?

It looks like it could be, copper is malleable most sulphides which might resemble native copper are not.

Most likely copper. A streak test will tell the difference.
Gold will leave a gold streak and copper will leave a copper red streak.
