The L shaped Game Strip on the Copse Field (Celtic/Roman Site) had been flatten since we last did the ankle breaker. Spent 2hrs 45mins covering it all again with 14 scrappies & 1 Roman Hob-Nail.
Then tried a field which had been recently drilled with maise & gave up after 45mins with just 1 button & a blank copper.
We then moved to another Game Strip that Land-Mag had told us was ready. (Low yield Roman Site) We did 1hr 15mins & got 6 Scrappies.
The Silver Streak is dead but 20 scrappies is pretty good for this time of year & we will take that result.

Cru',
You found what was available to find and I think the pot shards are pretty cool just by themselves... you're cleaning up leftover history one field at a time... always a joy to see what's in and above the ground over there!
