Cordial Glasses and a Hobnob thing

The color intrigues me,hand blown,6 inches tall,

Then this Hobnob piece,2 3/4 inch square,1 1/8 high.

Anyone tell me about them?

Hey Chris,

I've never heard this form called "hobnob." Hobnail, yes, that's the term I've always known it by.

It sure looks like a salt, to me.

I always think of Hobnobs as the biscuits, or hanging with the swells.

Salt? How about an ashtray. That's how one was used when I was growing up. I was interested in the hobnails and how well they gripped the fabric of an upholstered furniture arm.
