Went back today for a quick run thru the recently cut corn at our "button" site and found these four in about an hour. Also found this iron buckle and a iron piece i think may be modern part from farm equip(?). Love this site...still producing! Thanks for looking and HH!

Looks like a fun site. Do you know the history? There was a field in England that we called the 'button' field for all the buttons found there. It had been a military training ground for a century and a half or more.

It is a fun site and must have always been a good site for camp or settlement. It was originally our arrowhead spot and produced a lot of points from paleo era on. We started mding it earlier this year and have found well over 100 18th and 19th century buttons including my buddy jdsly's banner ratttlesnake button. What is odd is all this plus a lot of iron but only one coin. Maybe coins are deeper(?) Dont know but looking forward to hunting it hard this fall. Thanks

20.gif IM ALWAYS HAPPY GETTIN THOSE TYPE OF BUTTONS

Nice buttons! Congrats! Happy hunting!

I live finding flat buttons. I've got a button field myself, has produced over 30 buttons. No coins though! I keep going back hoping for one!

Nice stuff! The iron piece looks like a sickle guard of some kind.
