Decided to stumble around in the cornfield again today. It never ceases to amaze me by not only how much lead but how different they all are. LOL At least it gives up a few interesting sidelights. ;)

I thought padlock, but, no. Maybe scabbard tip?

Must've been listening close to hear this first lil button. :) It's smaller than the suspender button. See it in the Tomahawk pic.
It says "EXTRA RICH"

It says "SUSPENDER"

Either says "FRANCE" or "FANCY" at the bottom.

Yeah, it was a different world then...19 different small arms in service in as many calibers. Imagine MDing in Vietnam...hey look, another 5.56mm ;)
I like that button, that's an interesting one!

Great finds! yes that was a padlock! I used to have one in my collection but it got lost in a move.

I'm not so sure. There seems to be no place for a key and the area where the bolt would go into is solid. This looks like it was a tip of some sort attached to something.

Thanks!

Well, I tried. I posted on What Is It? and the Artifact forums.

The suggestions I got were, Roofing tile tool, Stone chisel or a Spike Tomahawk. Here's some more pics, I'll leave it to you guys. :dontknow:
