I am posting two pictures of my finds in a cornfield, about 25 miles from my home, that was a county fairgrounds until 1957 but is, now, a farm field. The first pic is of my trip in Nov. 2006 and the second pic is my finds from my recent trip on 4-21-07. Obviously, any coin over one cent denomination is SILVER and the newest cents are in the 50's. I have hunted this field for years and, always, find silver, there. Each time it is plowed or worked up it churns up more coins. On my last trip, there, the field was beautiful for coin hunting as the cornstalks had been all chopped up and the ground was nice and smooth. Fortunately, I'm the only person the owner will let hunt it

Your doing well there. Go slow and over lap the sweeps some to get all of it.

Good Luck.

Nice silver --You have a good spot.
