Could someone help me out with this find Im not sure what it is its quartz vein i believe but whats the gold stuff it seems to be soft

It's really hard to tell what's in your rock due to the lighting. Would be better to use natural lighting, but without glare.

Also, what area did the sample come from? That can help a lot in knowing what minerals are native to that area and in what usual quantities.

Some of that rock looks like silver or lead, but then again, the lighting is not good. Also, gold is commonly found with both silver and lead.
