Hi all,

I am a long time reader here but first time poster. I have been very interested in history and artifacts my whole life, and today finally became inspired to begin my search for an arrowhead. I live in Ontario, and searched the bed of a creek called Bronte Creek that directly flows into Lake Ontario.

I realize this is a long shot, as these are probably just stones, but I wasn't sure. I was hoping someone could tell me if I actually found something interesting, or not.

Thank you very much in advance for your help! arrow1.webparrow2.webp

just stones. keep looking. Its not just the shape your looking for, its how the item was made. compare your finds to other pictures and you'll notice the difference.

Thanks for your help! I'll get back at it :)

You have the shape down, learn to look for flake pattern:thumbsup:HH

Welcome aboard wall. Yeah just rocks but your on the rite track for the shape.

Look for the glimmer in the sun good job !!!!

if you are walking a creek....look for bends where stuff accumulates or new bank erosion or be sure to go after a good rain or some heavy creek flows. Ontario should be packed with stuff.
