Could this be green Tourmaline?

Try and clean it up, it looks dirty. But it doesn't look like your average tourmaline, uncertain as to what it might be.

Looks a bit like Actinoilte, but, knowing the area you go it from I would say it's more along the lines of lepidolite or cleavelandite

Lepidolite is a Lithium rich Mica, Cleavelandite is a feldspar.

Epidote, Diopside are perhaps to possiblities to. A hardness test could help limit the possibilites.

EU, the material comes from a pegmatite dyke bearing beautiful black tourmaline specimens. Google "Nuevo crosshill" there is a nice post about it as well as pictures of the tourmaline deposits as thick as your arm. There is one there as big as my leg!

Pegmatites are always cool. I've seen single feldspar crystals about 1.5 meters high!
