I know when I first got the HF Coil I stayed in 14 kh. Others were running the Higher freqs.....I started testing it out and found out the Deus in 28 kh is the best relic machine made it will unmask and find relics others missed. The site we found these buttons on had been hammered...… We only found 4 buttons but 2 were the right ones....Iron loaded sites need to be hunted in 28kh....My machine stays there.

I would be willing to help Calabash demonstrate for you too.

Seriously though, Calabash is right the higher frequencies increase performance of the HF coils. I have recently adjusted the frequency from 28kHz to 26kHz which is really closer to the "sweet spot" for optimum frequency for relic hunting IMO. One of these days, the Deus programmers will make it possible to set frequency to 20kHz on the HF coils.

You make me want to buy another machine. I just bought an Equinox 800 last year, saw your video on 5 tones - switched to that today and did well. But, that Deus looks special. Great finds and I really enjoy your videos. Nice work!
