Had a few hunts with not a lot to show for it....There are some non-identifable metal objects. One dog tag returned to a descendent of owner. The musket ball is the most interesting of the bunch to me. It was found at my aunt's house on a hill in Great Neck..Ipswich, MA which is an old historical area...I was hoping to find more as there is not of detecting allowed in that area. I cannot tell the age of the musket ball other than it looks hand formed with a tell tale cut mark (seare?). I have another set of finds from another hunt I will post separately.
