found these items at an old farm house, the item underneath the harmonica reed I think may be an old hairpiece? what do you think?

and the kids sherriff badge, any idea on the age of it? It was so deep i almost gave up on it. My digger is 12" long and I was completely down in the hole with it and still did not reach it. makes me wonder if the kid buried it years ago?

The hairpiece probably belonged to the sissfied Ranger who would wear a rhinestone badge.

You know, you might be right. Maybe the kid wore it once in public, and the reaction he got moved him to bury it as deep as he could.

Is that it in the top right?

wow it is only from 1948 the kid HAD to have burried it....lol
it was an easy 13" deep

I thought it looks like part os a gar valve that used to be for gas lighting? I have found several one complete and it looks similar
