I just had to get out as the weather was nice today. Headed out for my 'ol standby soccer field, didn't care if all I dug was clad. Nice surprise as my first dig was a '43 S merc. A silver rosie rounded out the day and made silver #30 from this sports field, over the last couple years. Also found the padlock there today.
Whats really odd is that I've never dug a single ring on this field.
On the way home, I noticed the village had just put in new sewer pipe along the railroad tracks. I saw broken glass and decided to investigate. Dozens of broken bottles, a couple broken inkwells, insulators, lots of corktop medicines, all broken, they must have dug through an old dump. I did score one undamaged keeper.
