✅ SOLVED Couple more Folsom pieces.......

The wife and I went out for a couple hours today while grandma watched the girls.
I managed to find the tip of a Folsom preform that was broken off during the 2nd flute attempt and a fragment of what would have been a beautifully flaked finished Folsom.View attachment 1782954

I have always wanted to find a complete one and spent quite a bit of time looking for one. That is a very nice piece and sure shows some fine workmanship!!!

I hope your right wels! I've been hunting for 20 years and only ever found broken fragments of them. I figure there is probably at least one at the spot where I'm hunting.

Awesome finds , somebody had some serious skills .... maybe it was a good way to pass time during those harsh winters I can’t imagine how cold it must have got , you ever have any luck matching broken ones up ?

Even as they are when I find pieces such as those I'm pleased. Just knowing they got to where they were found by the hand of man thousands of years ago and not by the natural forces, just tells a whole different story behind those pieces. Then I just imagine what that world was like for the people who left them there. Makes really wish there was a time travel machine, so I could see with my own eyes the landscape along with the flora and fauna of that time
