this has not been the best week of my life . last friday, my uncle who practically raised me passed away, then sunday night on the way home from work, my car caught on fire and was a total loss. now my pocket change finds ( too cold for me to detect, yes im a sissy ), a 1953 d, rosie, 2 1944 s wheats and a silver quarter from canada with the pink ribbon, breast cancer awareness.
happy hunting everyone, allen

Sorry to hear it man, the river of life will change course again hang in there! Best wishes.

Very sorry to hear that. I hope the good times are soon to return. Never had a car burn, but, at least the insurance can replace that. Wonderful uncles like that are hard to come by.

Yes you are a sissy though. Put on some long underwear and get out there. Jeez, if I quit swinging every time the temp dropped below 90 degrees I'd only have 352 days a year to hunt....sheesh.... ;D

Laater....and good luck

I LOVED THE COLD WEATHER WHEN I WAS A KID, BUT NOW I CANT STAND IT. MY HANDS GET REAL DRY AND SPLIT AND BLEED. WORSE THING ABOUT MY CAR BURNING, I HAD JUST DROPPED MY FULL COVERAGE, ONLY HAD LIABILITY...ITS SUPPOSED TO BE 55 HERE TODAY, I MIGHT GET OUT A IN BIT AND DETECT BEFORE GOING TO WORK. THANKS FOR THE SYMPATHY GUYS, LATER ALL

Sincere sympathies to you and yours...Keep on keepin on man.

Wow Allen! Hang in there, things will get better!

I am sorry to hear of your losses...my aunt died two days ago...the funeral was today.

Now for some more bad news...the quarter with the breast cancer awareness ribbon is not silver...sorry.

So sorry to hear about your bad week, Alan. :-\ Things will get better in time. :) Do try to get out and hunt a bit, it will help you to find some peace of mind. :)

Take care, Nana :)
