Started not to post this because of poor quality image. It was taken early this morning in low light with a little fog in the air.
There were a pair of these with a brood of about ten chicks alongside the road. The chicks can already fly, and they all took off when I stopped the pickup. The hen and one chick landed on a limb and stayed long enough for me to get one picture.

How could you not post that? That is a great pic!

Wild Turkeys are good tasting free food. We have many of them in Connecticut.

We think the quality is just fine!

Wonderful, magnificent photo. Momma and baby? This is super...

That fog background makes that photograph.:icon_thumleft:

GOD Bless

Chris

Your "low" quality photos are better than a lot of the ones I post. Sometimes a lesser quality photo is better than a high quality one as is the case here. Thanks for posting it.

Great picture. Two years ago a bunch of nearly grown turkeys were on the hill behind my house starting at me like "what are you doing here?"

Well, what WERE you doing there staring at them?? :laughing9:

It's a perfect turkey moment and you were there to witness it. I've never seen one like it before.

Well Done! Ron. Under the circumstances that is a fine photo.
