These finds are from a couple hours y'day and a couple today. Detected front yard at work y'day and found a 1942 S Washington, 10kt ring, junk necklace, 2 wheats and couple dollars in clad. Today I went for the back yard but after only finding about a dollar in clad I decided to head for the car. Halfway there I got a strong quarter signal, popped the plug and there was my first seated, a 1875 quarter. It may be really worn down but she's still awesome to me.
Thanks for looking.

Wait , where's the Indian Head cent , y'all P.A. hunters are obliged to dig IH cents every time out - seeing as how they minted the entire series in Philly ! ( with the exception of 1909-S)

Lol, I know right, I've found my fair share in my 8 months of the hobby. I never expected anything of age at this site since the oldest wheat was a 1939, building was built in the 60s and in my research of the area there wasn't any buildings previously. Only expected clad and some jewelry since the college students next door use our field for recreational purposes.

Nice job on the silver quarters. Slick or not, at least you can tell its a Seated coin and that's all that matters.

Congratulations on some great finds. I found only my second seated coin last week; a dime dated the same as yours, 1875. I would love to find a quarter like that. Happy hunting!

Grats on gold and silver and a seated quarter...who doesn't want to dig one of those in ANY shape!

Argentium. IHP's from San Francisco mint=1909s and 1908s. I dug a 1908s in 2017 here in Denver.
