The 10 inch coil is cracked on my Tigershark. It still works but in the water it makes false signals. I was thinking of drying it out thoroughly and spraying the coil with white Flex Seal? Or, I thought I might be able to make another coil work, such as the Tesoro Epsilon 5 pin coil, either hard wired or spliced onto the original interchangeable coil waterproof connector. I heard umax coils will work on the Tigershark. Any advice or opinions? Thanks HH.

Body shop fiberglass will repair the coil, but components for that will run $15 - $20.

If it has gotten water inside you may as well replace it, the copper wiring inside will rust and when a single strand breaks it is toast.
