Found this little piece behind an old baseball field. To me, it looks like a toy caboose. I’m fairly sure it’s lead and it looks prize size😬 any guesses?? I don’t see any manufacturer’s marking but I’m letting it slowly dry and cleaning it as it does.

Very interesting find Bob. Looks like it could be some kind of a prize. Looks old. Congrats and hope someone chimes in soon that knows. Thanks for sharing.

I think you're right on caboose. Crackerjack caboose was in plastic though.

My first thought was the same as CaptEsteban... old Monopoly game piece. :icon_scratch:

The first Monopoly tokens produced in 1937, were the car, the iron, the lantern, the thimble, the shoe, the top hat, and the rocking horse... these were joined by the battleship and cannon soon after. Like the shoe, the wheelbarrow was said to be a symbol of hard work. Which basically means the game ended up as rich versus poor.
