What you show is what is a very common Native American Hide Scraper.
I have many in my collection...But...what may be relevant is where you found this?
Was it used for?...Deer. Bear. BigFoot or Flying Squirrel ?
Let us know where you found it!

Thanks for the reply! This was found in KY. Most likely used for white tail deer. Very abundant in this area.

That’s a stage 1 biface. The circled area is called a stack. Realizing that this stack was impossible to remove, it was rejected and tossed.
