✅ SOLVED Rifle Stock ID?

Looking for help in identifying this rifle stock I found in the creek today. It's quite small and looks like it had a brass butt plate. Pictures of the only markings I could find.

Cool find! That curved buttplate is pretty interesting/distinctive. Very straight at the grip, too. Hmm.

Looks like I may have it identified. Model 1855 Springfield Pistol Carbine! Quite a find in a Nova Scotia creek!
