Creek finds...

[Illini Rockhound]

I have had pretty good luck hunting a local creek. I was wondering if these artifacts are from the same era or if they are from multiple time periods.

From the looks of it they are all generally speaking from the same time period. Most likely middle archaic.

The brightly colored point in the second to the last pic is probably a Hopewell point. Gary

Thanks for the information. With the various styles of points my son, my brother, and I have found i wasn't sure. I also found a really nice half of a bannerstone. Going to be looking for the other half til I find it or die trying lol.
