Both found in the water at the bases of gravel bars. The creek is mostly gravel based and usually clear. August and September the creek was dry due to severe drought. Thank god for the rains, cleared all the leaves!

I found this point yesterday in the creek. We had flooding rains last weekend. The water level went down and was able to get in the creek. The water was clear and perfect for hunting. I love this time of year, the leaves are out of the creek, no walking into spider webs and no bugs. The point’s not perfect, but I was thrilled at the size.
