Made it to the creek for a couple hours today.. field seasons pretty much done up here.
Almost gave up on this creek.. took me 4 years to find the ?spot?? makes perfect sense, heavily eroded bank with several washout gully?s.. atop is a flat area at the base of the bluff.
All wooded ? it?s a hike to this spot but we?ll worth it? today I scored this big, beefy knife.. 8658BA01-0680-4F4A-9495-F0C9EAB080AB.jpegDF2D20FD-7A51-4DC5-B9C3-58EDDC9A2B25.jpegF81DBBAF-1EF4-49EF-8671-89CB095E8B7E.jpegC535EF4C-8BBB-4057-9CD0-472E40362FF3.jpegC535EF4C-8BBB-4057-9CD0-472E40362FF3.jpegC1241F75-B4EC-4745-BBFE-526DBE0FFEF6.jpegA453ACAC-B7E4-44E0-B242-C69A08E664F0.jpeg0C687ACD-8A1D-4C5F-8A1F-984E6ABF7CFA.jpeg

Nice find! Strange, there is only two spots on my creek where I ever find points?

Tony, I can only find tools, no points (only one in 30 years) in the creeks on my place, in Western NC. don't know why that is. Most everyone says look in the creeks for them, and I have friends in my are that are successful at it. Maybe its like the 4 leaf clover thing, you either have a knack for finding/seeing them or not.

Nice finds! Good looking knife! Congratulations!
