is this a bead it has little lines all around the edges wondering if it is natural.and any ideas what to call the point.thanks

looks like a crinoid stem which is a fossilized plant stem. pretty common to find them in creeks with gravel.

I agree that it looks like a Crinoid, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a Bead. We find a few Criniod Beads on the Ft Ancient sites we hunt. I know a man that found two complete necklaces on a grave that he excavated back in the 50's that were all Crinoid Beads.
