Just a few of the finds I had from my last hunt.
I searched 1 case of pennies and 1 case of nickels.

Finds:

1 1945P war nickel
7 Wheats in total,
1944, 1947D, 1950D, 1951D, 1953D, and two 1957D's.
A large handfull of 40's and 50's nickels
I also found a coin I've never seen before, I believe it's Mexican.

Would anyone be able to give an estimated grade on the war nickel, or tell me if the 1981 is actually anything other than a copper?
Thanks, HH

I'd call the OD nickel a G-VG. It really doesn't matter much, they are basically bullion value until you get up to a Vf-XF. Yes, the foreign coin is Mexican. The '81 penny appears to be slightly off-center. Not enough to interest a error collector. Good eye though, little things can have big value.

Thanks for the info. Looks like the '81 will be going back to the bank!
