Croatia and the Dalmatian Coast

Heading out to Dubrovnik next year for a week. Anyone with info about MD there? Thanks in advance.

We were also considering taking our MD to the Dalmatian coast in Croatia but we changed our minds when we were warned about the tens of thousands of land mines that are still laying up and down the coast from the war about 12 years ago.

We were also considering taking our MD to the Dalmatian coast in Croatia but we changed our minds when we were warned about the tens of thousands of land mines that are still laying up and down the coast from the war about 12 years ago.

Land mines were not set on the Dalamtion coast. The threat of invasion was minimal along the coast line. Most of the mines were set by the warring factions inland where most of the fighting was. So go and metal detect the Dalamtions coast, just make sure you know the laws!
