Coasting bank - cast iron mechanical bank

Hi, hoping someone can help me find out how to research a mechanical bank I have. It’s says 1884 J&E Stevens coasting bank. Many thanks in advance

Not so sure i would send it off without serious considerations and insurences.

Have you tried Christies Auction ?

Yep Christie’s and Sotheby’s said not in their wheelhouse. Agree not keen on posting,, keep you posted

Thanks for the contact, a member has reached out to say he has one too. Apparently bought a few years ago from a guy who had 5 for sale. Also member offered to buy it. Interesting searching through as I haven’t come across a single image of a reproduction like this so for me still rare as a repro - got a bit brave and unscrewed the bit from the sled 🤔

Until absolute confirmation it is in fact a repop then it is not a repop.
