✅ SOLVED Crooked d on 1943 steel penny??

Hello again! I was doing some more rummaging through old coins in my house, when I came across this beauty of a coin! It's in amazing condition considering

its age! my only concern is that the "D" mint mark seems a bit crooked (diagonal). This is either a small error, or my overly dramatic OCD kicking in. Please let

Not an error. There will be lots of other 1943 steel cents identical, while lots of others will have the mint mark in another position because the mint mark was applied to the die at a different time than the die was made. The mint used lots of dies for the steel cents because the dies didn't last as long on steel as with copper cents.
