I have been doing a lot of research on Cross Hollows and would love to get out there. If anyone has permission and could get me on the property I would be in Heaven. Over a mile of Civil War camp along the creek...and a hidden cache, that's the dream right there.

I live in Springdale now but just moved here from Mountainburg in August. I tried to text you number but it was someone else.

And that unless you know the people around the area they will turn you down. It's been locked down to most for years. I lived in cross hollows a long time and see it almost all the time where they get turned down

Not long at all. I'm a true amateur, using a bounty hunter fast tracker, but a civil war in Arkansas buff. Only places I have detected are the Mountainburg city park, the CCC houses around Lake Fort Smith and cannon bombardment/crossing in Van Buren, AR and Chalk Bluff trail. I did find a bayonette on chalk bluff. I could definitely go Saturday...if you need an extra set of eyes.

Hello all,
I am new to this thread and actually live in Franklin, Tennessee surrounded by some of the most intense fighting of the Civil War. I have an old detector that I got from my brother-in-law and have been researching the Civil War since I was very young. I'm staying for a couple of days in Rogers and would love to do some detecting with someone familiar with the area. I've done a lot of research on Cross hollows and am simply looking to find one bullet because I have never found anything that I can say is unequivocably from the Civil War! Plus, although I love my wife, she says I won't find anything and I would very much like to prove her wrong! Is anyone out there willing to go with me for a bit?

Well I will official be moved back to Rogers, AR march 18th. I am kinda sad to be leaving the history of Western NY behind, but it feels great to be going back home to Arkansas. I am really looking forward to doing some relic hunting, and love my coin shooting also. Got some old homesteads lined up, and ready to start swinging. We have been snowed in all winter. Hope to meat some of you guys when I get down there.
