Crossfire ii coil vs crossfire coil

I am new to the site and was looking for some input. I have a treasure ace 300. Paid $40 for it a couple years ago and I like it. It has a crossfire supreme deepseeker coil 8.5". Note it is not a crossfire 2. My question is will a crossfire 2 work in place of an original crossfire Are they interchangeable without any mods. I want a 12.5" coil but they all seem to be of the crossfire 2 variety. Any help is great.

Thank you. Glad I didn't buy one that wouldn't work. Do you know if it won't work because of the pin pattern or another reason.

Because of the pin and different operating frequencies og both detectors.
