Crossover bands & Progressive bands
It's time to mention your favorite crossover and progressive bands. These are bands that were able to keep fans in 2-3 base groupings.
Here are my 2 entries for crossover
Santana - for their contribution of Latin/blues/rock
Sly and the Family Stone - Bringing R&B and rock together, even though they were still more R&B than anything else
For Progressive
Jethro Tull #1 and always will be..
Rock, blues, jazz and even classical all jelled together for 1 great sound
